Today, the team behind the Opera browser released a new beta version of their product. Opera 57.0.3098.6 is now available for download. It features a number of interesting improvements.

The key changes in this release look as follows.
Smarter news
A number of improvements were made to the news section of the New Tab page. There is a new, AI-driven news-retrieving mechanism, which will allow receiving personalized news recommendations that follow your interests accurately. You must agree to the terms displayed at the bottom right of the screen.
If you hover over any of the news stories displayed in the news section below your Speed Dial, you will notice new then Like and Dislike buttons. Your personalized news will follow your likes and dislikes.
Netflix recommendations
Opera 57 will show Netflix recommendations in a special section in the news. There, you’ll find new series that have just been released on Netflix.
Netflix recommendations will be available for select countries including Australia, Brazil, Canada, Czechia, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, the United Kingdom and the United States.

The team behind the Opera browser today announced availability of a new beta version of the product. Opera 60 Beta comes with interesting changes made to the user interface of the browser. One of the changes allows the browser to automatically follow the system dark theme which the user can enable in Settings > Personalization.

As you may remember, Opera 45 introduced dark mode that could be enabled by the user manually. Version 61 changes this. Now the browser respects the user preferences made under Personalization > Colors in the Settings app of Windows 10.Here is the new feature in action:
The feature appears to be inherited directly from Chromium, which has recently introduced the same functionality.
The official change log mentions the following key changes in this release.
- System dark mode in Windows 10 is supported
- Snapshot buttons are in dark theme now
- Address bar separators on Windows and Linux are well-fitted
- A few more dark themed pop-ups
- Fixed animations on macOS when opening new tab
- Sidebar’s context menu shown in the right place
